This programme is a collaboration between the University Medical Centre Utrecht (Julius Global Health, Wilhemina Children’s Hospital), Amsterdam Centre for Global Child Health (ACGCH) and the Dutch Working Party on International Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health. With an enthusiastic team of experts, we will discuss the major challenges which women and children in the world are facing, and we will look at potential solutions.

This year we will return for the Global Maternal, Newborn and Child Health summer school in Utrecht!

This course provides an overview of Maternal, Newborn and Child health care, globally. Guest lecturers will provide interactive sessions, alternated by small group work, to address the following learning objectives:

Discuss key challenges in global maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH); Explore various public health and clinical strategies to improve MNCH outcomes; Discuss the role of the Sustainable Development Goals in achieving MNCH outcomes; Collaborate effectively within an international group of participants and faculty.
