Training voucher Utrecht region

Do you live in the Province of Utrecht, the Amersfoort region, or Gooi and Vechtstreek region? If so, you may be eligible for a training voucher from the Regional Talent Fund Utrecht. This voucher can provide reimbursement of up to €5,000 towards the cost of a course, training programme, or professional development pathway.

The scheme is designed to make upskilling and reskilling more accessible in sectors facing labour shortages, including ICT, engineering, education, healthcare, and social services.

Depending on your personal situation, a substantial portion of the training costs—and in some cases the entire amount—may be covered. Any costs exceeding the voucher amount must be paid by the participant.

Your eligibility for this training voucher depends on several factors, including:

• place of residence: you live in the Province of Utrecht, the Amersfoort region, or the Gooi and Vechtstreek region;
• age: you are 18 years of age or older;
• employment status: your current employment situation or position in the labour market.

Important

• The training voucher must always be applied for before the start of the course or training programme.
• You may apply for a training voucher once every two years.
• The voucher can only be used for one course or programme.

1. Choose your course: Visit the course page on maakjestap.nl, select the course or training programme you wish to attend, and submit your voucher application.
2. Assessment: Each application is assessed individually to determine whether you qualify for funding.
