We offer on-demand education for veterinarians or paraveterinarians. This education is focused on laboratory diagnostics for companion animals: a practice or a group of practices can submit a request through ovp.vet@uu.nl to put together a customised education programme and receive a quote.

The educational programme can range from a single module to a multimodular curriculum.

Target group of this incompany programme

Participants are veterinarians or paraveterinarians who are regularly engaged in or wish to become more involved in performing and interpreting laboratory diagnostics of blood and urine samples from dogs and cats.

Learning objectives:

Using case histories, the main explanations for each deviating parameter are discussed. Based on the overall picture, a probability diagnosis is then devised, after which it is checked whether this explains all deviating parameters. This provides the basis for a diagnostic and/or therapeutic plan.

The incompany programme of laboratory diagnostics for companion animals can be applied for by a practice or a group of practices. The duration and specific content of the programme will be determined in consultation.
